Suejin Yang

Suejin Yang is Vice President of Product Development at MTV/VH1 Digital. In this role, Yang is responsible for product vision for both mtv.com and vh1.com, focusing on innovating the online video experience, the integration of social media, and evolving the user interface. Previously, Yang worked in various roles in MTV Digital, notably as Executive Producer overseeing the 2009 relaunch of mtv.com and focusing on convergent multiplatform content experiences, as well as  launches for all major tentpole events, including the Video Music Awards and Movie Award shows between 2006 and 2009. Starting her career in advertising, Yang moved into interactive advertising in 1996 with the onset of the internet boom and moved to MTV in 1998 as director of Ad Sales Marketing for MTV.com, where she pitched and produced many integrated sponsorship ideas in those early days for MTV's largest advertisers, including Pepsi, P&G, GM, Ford and Coke. Yang holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
