Shauna Sampson Eves

Shauna Sampson Eves focuses on emerging technology in her role as principal agency partnership development lead at Microsoft, a Jigsaw Global GOLD PARTNER for Digital Dive: A new media workshop for filmmakers. Shauna helps interactive design agencies and other partners create great user experiences that drive brand and content engagement. Her experience encompasses film, television, web, mobile, and application design. She began her technology career when she left film school at New York University in 1994 to help launch Wired Magazine and HotWired (hotwired.com, home of the first banner ad), where she helped create some of the earliest content on the web. Shortly thereafter, Shauna became a writer and producer at Wired Television, MSNBC, and the technology news show, The Site, responsible for broadcast and web content.Later she became the managing editor of the pioneering technology news and entertainment destination ZDTV (now G4) and has consulted for Fox, ABC and NBC on web content management and social solutions. Shauna helped launch the User Experience practice at the web consulting firm Scient, focusing on media and entertainment, ecommerce and technology client engagements. She has worked with Nestle, Wal-mart, Sephora, Intuit, Nokia and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, creating award-winning campaigns, content destinations, and service solutions. These days Shauna’s interests lie at the intersection of user experience, emerging technology, marketing, and commerce.
