Kaz Brecher

Kaz Brecher is responsible for driving strategic application of Sprout's rich-media creation tools, as well as shaping interactive agency services and production processes. She often sits at the intersection of client needs, team ideation, and engineering assessment. And her current focus is on helping brands, advertisers, and agencies leverage and extend their assets and IP into the social and display media space, with a distribution-agnostic approach. Prior to joining Sprout, Kaz was a program manager at Schematic and a senior force behind strategic and creative thinking. At Schematic, she managed complex, multi-platform projects and led cross-discipline teams for clients, such as Target, Microsoft, Dell, Logitech, and The Walt Disney Company.

Her interactive media experience began while serving as the creative director of broadband channels for Fantastic Entertainment, the media arm of a leading Swiss technology company. There, she oversaw international design and engineering teams that developed content and user-experience best practices for IP multi-casting distribution in partnership with companies, such as the NFL, AccuWeather, and MTV. Kaz also has worked extensively in film production, development, marketing and distribution, as well as print and branding services. She frequently participates in programs in which culture, science, technology and art overlap, from the American Film Institute Digital Content Lab's design:e2 "Green Map for Living" project to the joint MIT/Getty Center "Image and Meaning II" conference.  She is a self-published author, filmmaker, and sustainable product and tourism evangelist, so it is no surprise that she is interested in both content creation and the mediums for its consumption. Kaz holds BA in psychology, with a focus on social and abnormal psychology, from Stanford University.
