Flipboard (remember them?) is trying to become Tumblr for magazine articles. Users may grab articles from any Flipboard source to create a custom magazine. Then other users may subscribe to/follow your custom magazine. My best friend and I would have had a field day with this in high school, since we were reading everything from Interview to Premiere to Esquire.

Creative spotlight: Filmmaker Chris Milk
Chris Milk is one of the most interesting and influential artists working at the convergence of film and digital media. He incubated ROME at the inaugural New Frontier Story Lab, the newest of the lab programs run by the Sundance Institute. Before participating in the Lab in the summer of 2011, he and his frequent collaborator Aaron Koblin had shown two pieces in the New Frontier exhibition at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival in January.
